Supposing you are afraid of flying

By

Europe to Australia means 12 hours flying! For some travel addicted, as I am, could be so lonooooong! They can do a megacity in this time, and they can barely wate the hypersonic plane which will fly the half of this time.

But not all the human beans are the same. Some of them can still have plane sick, making this trip unbearable, or simply have so much afraid of flight. It is simply a fear, not easy to understand, to comment and to comprehend. If you are one of these, and desperately want to see Australia, I can give you a tip: you must have many time to your disposal. You can travel by bus from London to Sidney. You only need 5000 Euros, enough luggage and condoms. It is an event indeed, you will no time for boring. You go near Everest, Taj Mahal and so on. Enjoy your trip!

Friends and enemies

By

My desk mate and I are not very close right now, despite our promises from 18. I had also many other class mates I haven’t seen for ages, despite despite our close friendship from years ago. Sad and unbelievable for a teenager!

On an other scale, and in the other sense, I think to the World War II. America and Germany were death enemmies, and by the end of the war, when Germany was already suffering from hunger, malnutrition, diseases, America and its allies have heavily bombarded and practically destroyed Dresden, a cultural german jewelery, with many churches and other medium Age monuments.

After the war, the ennemies stared to be friends again, agreeing about the luch of purposesnear-dresden-germany.jpg of a war. German and France even are today friends, finally. And 60 years after the devastating bombardments the allies got some spends and rebuild achurch destroyed by themselves. Let this church be asymbol of peace, and let other people learn from this tough lesson!

How could you know your hosts better?

By

Traveling means new horizons and meeting new people.  You go somewhere and you simply want to meet and understand them.

This is the reason why you live quickly your hotel, which is not very personal, and you go out for a walk, maybe in a park. You will notice that the locals are not extraterestrials: they have also one head and two legs. Their children like to play in the park, very similar to what is happening at your place. A lot of the locals work, or have worked and take now a well deserved rest. There are for sure pair of lovers. Most of them will be polite, friendly or even familiar to you.

But what to do on a rainy weather? You still have a lot of choices:

1. Stay in your room, and browse your computer or blog. But these things could you make also from home, couldn’t you?

Delhi

By

Delhi, the most important travel target from India. 20 000 000 inhabitants. Activ city, many industrial factories, hotels, banks etc. Long history, the city was founded in 12th century b.C , mentioned in Mahabbarata. Trembled histories, with growths and decays, destructions, fires. The muslim are many in this part of India, it is to mention the mosque for 25000 believers,Jama Masjid

It is huge indeed, as it must be for a megacity.

You can eat indian specialities( very divers, the kitchen of nord India has nothing in common with that from southern India). You can taste the both, you have vegan dishes, western specialities etc. You have a wide range of hotels, hopefull better than this:

A temple in a mega city

By

I wondered how could look a temple in a mega city?

I have an answer bellow. You must notice: for the proportions of city of Delhi, India, it is still not big enough! Think to the

100 000 insiders and to the huge danger of accidents!

I will back soon with other news about Delhi. Or maybe my friend Kalyan could help me!

What I think about mega cities

By

I raised to the countryside. I live in a town with 100 000 inhabitants.

For me would be surely an adventure living in a mega city! And I mean cities with 20 000 000 people. Visiting is quite different, we do it as travel addicted! But living there?

I wonder what a kind of briliant manager must be the maire of this mega city to ensure water supply, waste collection, cleaning and recirculating used waters, controlling traffic jams.Etc, etc. This a task for real!

In the ancient times humans should gather for surviving, it was much safer. Than appeared the cities, beginning with Ur and Uruk. Everyone who wants to live better or wants to be someone goes to a city, preferably mega city. It is a historic reflex indeed: it is easier to live in the urban jungle than in the forest rain. Or you simply have no other choice, the mega city swalows your town or small village. For sure, the quality of life is not so good for many inhabitants of the mega cities, but they strive nevertheless to live better and move in a better city quarter.
