Big in Japan

Tags: , , , ,

If you want to be big in Japan, you got to work hard. That is why the nippons are workaholic!

Unfortunately, they simply collapsed sometimes, and this is very frequent between the men of 30 to 40, and it is very well known as karoshi. The young weadows can suit the companies earning fortunes, but this is not the really wisdom way of the Japanese. Better take a vacation to the right time, and a long travel.

Good airports, bad airports

You are a traveler in power of your responabilities, so you are on travel. Probably, you start your travel in an airport. It does not matter what is your airport, and how did you choice it.

Most important is to make clear from the start which airports are good and which are bed. And I want to show you that bad airports are in fact the best ones.

Supposing you lost your link, and you are not guilty about it! The next one comes tomorow only. By courtesy of the air company, after two hours stay in that nasty airport, you will be logged in a hotel. It is already too late. As you travel solo, you picked already a representative of the opposite sex, and the kindly invitation from the air company is more then welcome. And they will also spare some money, as you need only one room instead of two.

Entertainment tourism

You, as a tourist, are maybe not the profesional traveler. You only need fun and entertainment and do not want to hear about sports, museums or whatsoever. Under these circumstances, there are maybe two ways to cover your needs.

1. Gambling tourism. You love that adrenaline sensation, you can afford to lose moderately, hoping in a big win. Take care, not to became addicted! Cards, roulette, computer games, everything is good for your need to take chances. Favorite destinations: Las Vegas, Aruba, Sun City in South Africa.

Gambling is good

2. Debauchery tourism. You are between 24 and 34, workaholic, and when you go on shorter or longer vacations you need new strong experiences. I mean alcohol, sex, maybe even drugs(still a tabu). There are also some favorite destinations for this kind of tourism: Hanoi, Macau, Dubai, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas.

Debauchery tourism is good sometimes for everyone

Endangered environment

1. Environmental tourism. Go to China as quick as possible, today and not tomorow. On the Yangtze River is in building a huge dam, namely the Three Gorges Dam. After its inauguration in 2009, large surfaces will be flooded, and you still can see them in the today stand. Maybe is good for China and its progress, but not for its environment. On the other hand, thinking at China’s population of 1,5 billions, and considering 10 % of it with no jobs, it is already frightening! And suppose many of this people would leave China!

2. Vote for the top 5 of the natural wonders of today planet. My favorites are Grand Barrier Reef, Everest, Grand Canyon.Great barrier reef, a natural wonder of our planet

Moscow and Seul made their way to the top. They managed to get in front of the past lider Tokyo where a Heineken is 12$ and a melon is 13$. Berna, Switzerland should have appeared in this top too. I will get into details later.

Bilbao in the Basques Land

The spanish city of Bilbao is a special one. Not a megacity (500 000 inhabitants), but also not very cheap, ranking fourth in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona and San Sebastian.

Bilbao is a spectacular city

The city is located in a hilly region, in the Basques Land, on the banks of Nervion River. The Basques are proud of them and of their wealthy capital, and sometimes some indepententists try to gather attention through attentats. But it is a safety place after all.

It is located in the golf of Biscay (Biscaya in Basque).

Position of Bilbao in Spain and Basques Land

Bilbao was founded in the Medium Age , became in 1600 already the capital of Basques Land, and flourished due to industrial revolution(mining, shipbuilding etc).

It was always a touristic attraction due to its wonderfull hill location(trekking and climbing are possible), museums, hotels and appartments.

You need no special motivation to be in New York. This city is a must for any traveler of these days, as for any man living on this planet. It is similar with the ancient Rome, a sort of capital of the world !New York before 11/09/2001

New York is no longer the biggest city of the world, has neither the world’s highest building, but it still atracts magnetically every people of this Earth. It is a megacity indeed, and it was the first one megacity of the planet. Maybe we could name it the alfamegacity!

It plays a major world in world’d  industry, economy, finance, culture, fashion, sports, tourism and travels.

Hotel Plaza,NY

Since 1790 New york has been America’s greatest city, a symbol of it, as the most immigrants came to America via New York. Since 150 years it is( corect me if I am wrong) world’s most important city.

Paris, La tour Eiffel

Paris. Love stories(it is only a legend! More frequent are the lovers arguments in Paris!).

What to do in Paris? walk on the Champs Elysees; go with a boot along Seines, search the bouquinistes, visit Le Musee du Louvres, go to the Opera. Or , much better than all these, take a panorama of the City from the Tour Eiffel.

Tour Eiffel in daylight

La Tour Eiffel, as the french name it, was at its beginning a controversial building. Gustave Eiffel, the designer of builder, was even imprisoned for this nasty ugly building rising in the heart of Paris. But the history build another story and value for the Tour.

The Tour Eiffel is not very new. It was build in 1896 when Paris hosted the World Exposition and made no big impression. The authorities draw already plans to demolish it in 1909 in order to rebuild a normal beautiful building! Fortunately, they did not achieve this plan.
