Top 10 Destinations in September
Tags: Autumn destinations, Croatia, discounts, Dominican Republic, egypt, Esfahan, Greek Islands, La Paz, Mallorca, paris, Transition season, Travel Destinations, Vienna, Wadi Rhum ValleyYou can still travel a lot in September, with the big advantage of small prices. The peak season is off, and during the transition season ( autumn in the northern hemisphere, and spring in the southern) you can save a lot of money. So, I will recommend you some wonderful destinations.
1. The Greek islands. The prices are much lower, the water still good for bathing, and you are next to the Gods. You have a big choice of smaller or bigger islands ( Corfu, Santorini etc )
2. Mallorca, Spain. Wonderful Mediterranean island with beaches, mountains, olives plantations and even windmills. Usually overcrowded and expensive in summer, is now much cheaper.
3. Paris. La Ville lumiere is magnetic as ever, and will host by the end of september an important auto exhibition. Book in advance, and do not expect something cheap in Paris.
4. Egypt. Always crowded and expensive, but if you are lucky you can get some discounts. The resorts from the Red Sea are fantastic for diving and snorkeling.
5. Croatia. After the devastating recent wars, Croatia recovered very fast, becoming the tourist destinations of the decade. Dubrovnik and the seaside are remarkable.
6. Esfahan, Iran. It is Iran’s most beautiful city and its central market build in 1602 is one of the world’s biggest. Typical Islamic architecture.
7. Vienna. A magic city, with so many museums and many other attractions !
8. The Dominican Republic. Fascinating beaches and resorts, friendly people, luxury prices. Not for budget travelers.
9. La Paz, Bolivia. Remote, but interesting destination. Very high altitude, you might experience some breath troubles. But a nice clean city, worth to be seen.
10. Wadi Rhum valley, Jordan. Limestone valley with a traditional bedouin way of life.
