Snorkeling is maybe one of the most instructive way to spend a vacation. Simultaneously, snorkeling is very relaxing, cheap and easy to practice, even for the bad swimmers. There are no competition for snorkeling, it is rather an intimate contact to the water and its hidden beauties.

For snorkeling you only need a snorkel, a mask, and optionally swimfins and special suits in the cooler waters. Besides, you need a good location for snorkeling, which means clear water with spectacular views (shipwrecks, coral reefs, fishes or other interesting aspects of wild marine life). And of course, the wish for snorkeling and the necesary time to do it- but you are in vacations!

Beware during snorkeling to the dangers and hazards which can occur :

1.Sunburns, as your body is totally immersed, and you won’t feel any sign of burns. Fight sunburns using special protection suits in the tropical waters.

Bangkok travel guide

Bangkok is one of those incredibly hectic cities that feels crammed from end to
end with people, all of whom appear to be moving about on the street and roads
at once. All this chaos, congestion and pollution can be a little overwhelming for
visitors, but Bangkok has always welcomed travelers with open arms, and there
is a friendly, approachable atmosphere here that is almost unique for such as
large, busy urban sprawl. Bangkok is also the gateway to the beautiful country of
Thailand, with its tropical climate, exotic beaches and stunning rain forests, and
prices throughout Bangkok (accommodation, food, attractions and excursions)
are so cheap that it makes the perfect destination for a tropical holiday for those
on a tight budget.

Its amazing to see how far digital cameras have come it wasnt long ago that I was watching my friends boast about their oh so powerful 2 MegaPixel still cam…man, was THAT a joke!

Today a camera twice as powerful can be purchased at half the price of that 2 megapixel cam and I’m going to review one right now!

The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is a 10 MegaPixel Digital Camera that is stuffed to the brim with technology and options! Featuring a 10x Long Zoom lens the FinePix F70EXR has been designed for demanding shots under less than welcome conditions! The cam is relatively tiny (easily fitting into ones shirt pocket) yet the long zoom option backed by FujiFilm’s award winning EXR technology allows you not only to capture long distance objects but the ability to do so under almost any lighting conditions and achieving outstanding results every time.

Do’s and Don’ts in Bucharest

Bucharest is the capital of Romania and an ancient city, located on the banks of a tributary to the great Danube, the Dâmbovita River. This attractive city has many restored neoclassical buildings and wide leafy boulevards and there are some wonderful parks and gardens including Cismigiu Gardens and Herastrau Park. Bucharest also has three natural lakes (Floreasca, Tei and Colentina), which are surrounded by excellent recreational facilities.

The Cismigiu Gardens in Bucharest

Bucharest has had a rich and varied history, and there is a wealth of diverse architecture on offer, from to Byzantine chapels right through to dreary communist grey apartment blocks, which were regrettably built over the top of some of Bucharest’s medieval architectural treasures. Fortunately a few buildings from the Middle Ages have survived including the ruins of the Curtea Veche (the Old Court of the King or the Old Princely Court), which was built as a domestic residence for the monarchs during Vlad III Dracula’s rule in the 15th Century.

Swine Flu – Travel Advice

Tags: , ,

Swine Flu originated in Mexico, and the first cases were reported worldwide in April 2009. The World Health Organisations acted quickly to assess the risks that this virulent strain of influenza represented, and although the virus outbreak has now been officially labelled ‘pandemic’ (affecting other countries around the world), there have been a low percentage of cases reported worldwide, and no fatalities as yet outside of Mexico.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) have advised against all non-essential business and leisure travel, and people leaving the country are scanned at the airport for obvious flu like symptoms, although of course many passengers could be carrying the virus without displaying any symptoms at all. WHO are not restricting travel completely to and from Mexico and other affected countries, as this has been shown to have no affect on containing influenza type viruses.

5 World’s Most Bike Friendly Cities

What makes a city to be bike friendly? I have chosen personally the bellow listed cities judging the length and safety of the special bike lanes, the use of the bike in that city or country, the respect showed by drivers and walkers against bikers. Also, the basics: that city must anyway to be worth to be visited. Fact is that every city could be visited much better by bike, than by car, but not all the municipalities have understood this simply law. Every Maire of a major city should be aware of this simple fact: letting the bike hire for free could enhances the number of tourists. But let see the winners right now and go green !

1. Amsterdam is doubtless the capital of the biking Europe. There are many bikes, many bike lanes, a bike culture and a bike education . Also an amazing permissive city.
