Berlin is totally a city to fall in love with. There are many parks and lakes in Berlin, and no one will charge for walking in the parks ; lying in the sun on some beaches is not for free anymore. But besides there are some very interesting places you can acces for free, and I think you must be aware of that and get more from your Berlin travel.
1. Reichstag is still the place where the Parliament debates take place. But it is also the place where the Nazi regime ruled Germany and the conquered countries, which is a sombre page of history. From the impressive heights of the roof terrace and the renowned Dome you can get one of the best aerial view of Berlin. Acces is free, but during daytime is overcrowded and rather to avoid. At night there are no crowds anymore, and the view is breathtaking. You should enter the building before 10 p.m., and please don’t forget to take a free copy of ” Guide of aerial Berlin”.
Madrid is a wonderful destination for a holiday with a lot to offer visitors of all ages, and as well as the bustling main city there are some stunning nearby coastal resorts which make fantastic destinations for a summer sun break.
Because this has been one of the top destinations for UK visitors for many years there are lots of cheap flights on offer departing from airports all over the UK to Madrid Barajas Airport (AD), and the best deals on airline tickets can often be found online at websites like www.cheapflights.co.uk and www.dealchecker.co.uk. You should also check the last minute boards in local travel agents and Teletext, but don’t forget to compare prices as sometimes you can get even cheaper prices on the budget airlines by booking well in advance, rather than leaving it to the last minute.

Whenever I travel to a new city, I try to find out if there is a skybar in the vicinity of the hotel I am staying at. If there is one, I count myself lucky and quickly grab my companion so that we could have a round of drinks at the bar. If there isn’t any, better luck next time then.
Here are some of the most enchanting skybars in the world for you discerning bar hoppers. Take note the next time you travel to the desired city of your choice!
1. The Dome, Bangkok
Located at the top of The State Tower, the Dome is indeed a sight for sore eyes, and dry throats. Besides offering a scenic view of the vibrant city below and the enchanting Chao Phraya river, the skybar also lets customers choose from a tempting array of the best whiskies known to man. The bar itself changes color ever so often, creating a fairytale like ambiance as you sip on champagne and feast on fresh, juicy oysters.

The Finnish Airline Pilots’ Association (SLL) has stated its intention to start strike action as of November 16, 2009. The pilots have also announced an overtime ban starting on October 31, 2009. The overtime ban is illegal.
“It is unforgiveable that a key group of the company should show such a complete lack of judgement in the current economical situation,” says Finnair’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Anssi Komulainen. “By this action, the pilots are endangering the customers’ travel plans as well as the jobs of all other Finnair staff. The central question behind the issue is who has the right to decide the use of the company’s aircraft: the management or one of the employees’ associations.
Finnair’s pilots want to continue under the terms of employment agreement that expired a year ago, terms which have become quite impossible under the current economic conditions.

The North Face® today announced that 618, the new Free Radicals ski film, made in partnership with The North Face®, will commence its upcoming European tour with a world premiere in Gothenburg, Sweden this evening.
Since 1987, Free Radicals has been a constantly evolving and loosely knit group of Scandinavia’s best freeriders, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the sport , helping good riders develop as athletes and serve as positive role models for new generations of riders. The first film about Free Radicals was produced in 1997, to inspire others and give freeride skiing the exposure it deserves.
