Aside from the music, love was in the air during the first Coachella 2012 weekend in Indio, California.

Spotted stars were the likes of Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson in some PDA moments alongside Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder of Vampire Diaries. The real life couple from the popular TV series is often quiet about the relationship but they were very affectionate during the show.

Will Adamowicz and Emma Watson were also sweet and cozy during the Mulberry BBQ Pool Party. Longtime sweethearts Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth were also spotted.

Fergy and hubby Josh Duhamel also tweeted some images when they got at the festival proving that things can still be hot after tying the knots.

Not everyone though was in a happy mood as Gerard Butler went solo and was seen in a heated conversation with a brunette last Saturday. But we are sure it was not too long a time that he spent it alone.

Last Monday, the organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced the lineup of performers and details on the dates and how you can get tickets.

More than 100 bands will be performing headlined by At The Drive-in, Florence and the Machine, Florence, the Shins, David Guetta, Arctic Monkeys, Jimmy Cliff, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Radiohead, and The Black Keys.

The 2012 Coachella will run from 13 to 15 April and will be held in Indio, California. This is also the first time that Coachella will be stretched thru multiple weekends.

In 2011, more than 75,000 people bought 3-day passes for the event which featured acts like the Strokes, Arcade Fire, and Kanye West. Ticket sales raked in $23 million and were sold out a week after the announcement of sales.
