Continental airlines recently announced that they are to add a number of flights in-between Maui and Las Vegas as well as commencing services to Honolulu flying from Orange Country. It would seem that the premier American airline is trying their best to remain the Pacific’s largest domestic flyer.
Tese new flights commence on the 7th of March 2010, and tourists will get even more opportunities to visit the stunning island archipelago which is famous throughout the world.
Honolulu is not only the tourist center of Hawaii, it is also the educational, artistic and political
heart of Hawaii and has a reputation for some of the best restaurants, hotels and theaters in the
country. Honolulu has all the sophistication and cultural of any other big city in the world, along
with the added bonus of year round sunshine and beautiful tropical surroundings.
There are many top attractions in Honolulu, and here are just a few of the best:
* Polynesian Cultural Center – the Polynesian culture once stretched across Hawaii, Tahiti,
Fiji and New Zealand (Maori), and you can learn more at the Polynesian Cultural Center
about the fascinating history of the Polynesians and see live demonstrations on hula

One word for you then. Oahu. Oh, yeah. Even the name sounds like the exotic island it is. The word is full of flavor. Just like the people. You only need to plan your trip to Hawaii!
If your traveling to Hawaii you want to go prepared and know a little bit about the islands. Obviously you’re going to do a little research so to help you out here’s a little bit to get you started on your Hawaii vacation planning.
First off you should know that there are 4 major islands with 2 smaller islands but also tourist destinations. The 4 major islands are Oahu, Maui, The Big Island, and Kauai. The other two are Lanai and Molokai. The heaviest populated Hawaiian island is Oahu. This is the one with Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, and Hanauma Bay. Although some may say it is too touristy, I think it’s a great island to get all there is to offer about the Hawaiian islands.
