Why so many people go to Sidney, Buenos Aires etc while other destinations remain completely exotic, undiscovered and not visited? Hard to answer this questions! Fact is, that any city develops its own personality. And this personality may be attractive, or not.
There are some criteria for a city to become very beloved among tourist : prices; availability of hotels, hostels and private rooms; availability of restaurants; near attractions; kindness, friendliness and behaviour  of the locals etc. It is a select club, very difficult to enter. I will present you under a list of the world’s most beloved cities for 2008, which are similar with the precedent lists of 2007, 2006 etc. Thus, this is also a list with interesting cities to do for 2009!
