Paris on a budget

If you never thought about Paris otherwise as a luxury destination, I tell you it is possible. Many other people would never agree this crazy idea of Paris on a budget, as they are used to the luxury Paris of fashion shows and fancy hotels.

Hotel Hipotel in Paris is unbelievable cheap.

Hotel Hipotel in Paris is unbelievable cheap.

I wish you that God will spare you from being hit by the crisis, but I tell you again: there is possible to see Paris on a budget indeed! Maybe not even the same misery which experienced Edith Piaf by the beginning of his flamboyant career (she didn’t have ruling hot water) or Hemingway while living in Paris. There is a special atmosphere in some corners of Paris, which I would qualify as bohemian and highly spiritual. Living it alive simply makes you forget the hungry or other needs!

Anybody Speak French?

Okay. So you’re going to France and don’t have a clue how you’re going to communicate. Don’t panic. Really, don’t. You’re not the first person and will doubtfully be the last to ever plan a trip to France and not have a clue about how to get by. But it’s really not as hard as it seems. You don’t have to learn much, just enough to help you get by if you need to.

While you can easily go to any book store, or even online and purchase a translation book, it’s not that hard to learn a few key words and phrases that might help you get by on your vacation. At least, it shouldn’t be. But then again, what basic French phrases does one deem important?

Ooh, la la. So you’re taking a Paris vacation. How exciting. A Paris vacation makes one think of romance, art and fashion. Going on a Paris vacation opens up your world to so many wonderful and fascinating things, you won’t be the same person when it’s over. You’ll be worldly. That’s right. A Paris vacation will transform you from an ordinary person to a worldly person.

A Paris vacation makes you a world traveler. It gives you a stamp in your passport. Provided your Paris vacation is your first outside your native country.

So what do you plan to do on your Paris vacation? If you are taking a Paris vacation, then the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, and the Grand Louvre Museum have to be on your list of things to do. What kind of Paris vacation would it be without exploring all of those wonderful places? Can you imagine the view from the Eiffel Tower? You can probably see all of Paris from there.

Paris Tours

Tour EiffelHmmm….Paris. Who doesn’t want to visit it?

When you go to Paris, there are some great Paris tours you can take part in. If you would like to take Paris tours that take you out of Paris, then you might consider the ones that take you to Versailles. Versailles offers a tour of a musical fountain, or the Hall of Mirrors (state apartments), Versailles Palace and, of course, Chatres, which is the centerpiece of their Christianity.

If you would like to take Paris tours that keep you inside of Paris, you can take Paris tours that include the Paris l’Open Tour which takes you on an exploration of all Paris encompasses, historically, romantically and fashionably. There also tours that go through Champs Elysees, the Grande Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower. If these aren’t enough to whet your appetite, then you can always find Paris tours that take you to see the “real” Paris, such as the Paris tours that will take you to the Montmartre and the flea market.

Top 10 Destinations in September

You can still travel a lot in September, with the big advantage of small prices. The peak season is off, and during the transition season ( autumn in the northern hemisphere, and spring in the southern) you can save a lot of money. So, I will recommend you some wonderful destinations.

1. The Greek islands. The prices are much lower, the water still good for bathing, and you are next to the Gods. You have a big choice of smaller or bigger islands ( Corfu, Santorini etc )

2. Mallorca, Spain. Wonderful Mediterranean island with beaches, mountains, olives plantations and even windmills. Usually overcrowded and expensive in summer, is now much cheaper.

3. Paris. La Ville lumiere is magnetic as ever, and will host by the end of september an important auto exhibition. Book in advance, and do not expect something cheap in Paris.

Paris is one of the world’s most visited cities. It has hundreds of interesting and exciting places for its 30 millions visitors which it hosts yearly!

My personal 10 favorites things to do in Paris are listed bellow.

1. Hotel d’Angleterre, a luxury mansion build in the XVIII th century, which served as english Embassy. In the 20’s it was very frequently visited by Ernest Hemingway.

2. The unique view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower, which is even today the highest building in the city. You can enjoy it before a cup of coffee, but this cup will be not cheap.

3.Saint Chapelle is a wonderful decorated church, having a special architecture.

4. La Coupole. A chic restaurant in Montparnasse, legendary in the 20’s for its artistic clientelle.

1. The gate of the mega city Seoul burned in a huge fire, and it is completely destroyed. There already some plans to rebuild it. I bag the happy ones to have already saw it to tell us something about it with photographs!

2. Paris is not only the city of loved couples. Statistically speaking, there take place most of the separations and arguments between lovers. It most be quite a sensation to separate from your partner in Paris! Much nicer than in London, of course.

3. There are many projects of sending cars far away from overcrowded or over polluted cities. In Athens, to protect Akropolis, the circulation by car is strong reduced. Following that model the Maire Bloomberg of New York city and also the maire of London launched some interesting law propositions aiming to reduce noise and fumes. The initiatives failed now, but I hope that someone will be able to let them pass! What do you think about Manhattan without cars? Only bikes and planes will be allowed!
