San Francisco, one of the most popular travel destinations in the Western United States. Not only does it have fantastic weather, a glamorous celebrity life, and an active community for Gay Pride, but it is also ripe with entertainment venues, and things to see. There are so many attractions in San Francisco, that it is hard to know where to begin when compiling a list of the best.

But I did my best, and while anyone who has been to this fantastic city in California will have their own locations that they label ‘must see’s’, here are a few of my own all time favorite attractions in San Francisco, and each one is, in my opinion, crucial to any tourist’s itinerary.

Luckily, there are plenty of crazy gatherings for all you party animals out there, some well known, others only locally heard of, but all with thousands of people just like you who are there for one reason: to have the best, most drunken time possible without causing their own deaths.

These are my picks for the top 10 biggest parties around the world.

Did You Know? There’s an Oktoberfest in San Francisco

San Francisco OktoberfestThe first question should actually be, do you know what Oktoberfest is? Most people relate it to eating German food and lots of alcohol. While that is probably true of most Oktoberfests, there is more to them. They are a celebration of life. In fact, the first one ever held was because of a royal wedding that included a celebration and horse races. They became a regular celebration after that. They are about bringing cultures all over the world, together. In fact, German immigrants have helped shape the culture of the bay area. That’s why the Oktoberfest in San Francisco is such a treat.

Oktoberfest San Francisco is definitely something you don’t want to miss. You may have been to other Oktoberfests. They may even have been lots of fun giving you lots of memories to look back on.

But they weren’t Oktoberfest San Francisco style!
