Sony VAIO NW Notebook Now Available in US

Sony has recently announced the launch of their much anticipated VAIO NW notebook in United States. The new Sony VAIO NW notebook PC is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor up to 2.1GHz and comes with built-in Blu-ray drive.

The Sony VAIO NW features a 15.5 inch XBRITE WXGA LCD display which comes equipped with a 4X BD-ROM optical drive. It includes 4GB RAM, 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics and up to 400GB hard drive.

In addition to that it will offer Wi-fi 802.11a/b/g/n support, HDMI output, ExpressCard, SD and Memory Stick Pro card slots. The Sony VAIO NW notebook Li-ion battery allows up to 5.5 hours of usage which is at least pretty perfect for someone like me who needs to be online almost all the time.


Sony Ericsson’s W205 Walkman Phone Announced

Sony Ericsson is a top, global industry player with sales of around 97 million phones in 2008. They have just introduced their new Walkman Phone codename W205 Walkman. The new slider mobile phone comes with a complete package of entertainment features and the power to set up playlists to ensure you have the right music no matter the occasion.

It allows you to share tunes with friends via the speaker phone function and comes with a 1.8-inch 128×180 LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with 2.2x digital zoom, Bluetooth, and FM tuner.

The new W205 lets you record a sample of a song from your favorite radio station so that you can use it as your new ringtone. In addition to that you can also listen to the latest news, music, sport commentary and talk shows. And of course my favorite “TrackID” to name any specific tune and artist.


Sony VAIO W Series Notebook Pc’s Coming this August

Sony is the world wide leader and manufacturers of some of the smartest mini notebook PC’s out there. They have recently added VAIO W Series Mini Notebook PC to their catalogue that features a standard netbook configurations.

The new VAIO W Series mini notebook pc is powered by Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and is integrated with GMA950 graphics card. To fill up your important data it offers a decent storage capacity of 160GB along with 1 GB of Ram.

The VAIO W comes in three vibrant colors including berry pink, cocoa brown and sugar white. It features a 10.1 inch LED backlit LCD display and supports Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition to that it includes a Meda Plus Multimedia Streaming software that lets you stream wirelessly across DLNa-enabled devices and videos. Furthermore music and pictures can be accessd from your W Series to your PC or Playstation 3 and vice-versa.


Sony to launch C901 GreenHeart and Naite Mobile phones

Sony Ericsson is a top, global industry player with sales of around 97 million phones in 2008. They have just announced the launch of their two new GreenHeart eco-friendly mobile phones codename “C901 GreenHeart” and “Naite”. According to the company the C901 GreenHeart’s phone casing is made from a minimum of 50% recycled plastics. It is colored with waterborne paint that lowers exposure to Volatile Oranic Compounds.

Both C901 GreenHeart and Naite comes with a low power charger that reduces the overall CO2 footprint of the two point by at least 15%. In addition to that the GreenHeart will be bundled with the MH300 headset that is made up of 100% recycled plastics in 4 out of 5 hard plastic parts.

Sony Announced their new Camcoder with built-in GPS

The Japanese consumer electronics giant, Sony has recently announced the launch of their new Ultra Compact Digital Camcorder. It is a new HD camcorder which allows you to capture 4 megapixel photos at 1920×1080 pixels resolution with full HD video. It looks pretty perfect for travelers.

“Travelers are looking for high-quality products that focus on performance and portability,” said Kelly Davis, director of camcorder marketing, Sony Electronics. “This new model has a titanium body with a premium hard coating enhancing durability and it’s packed with high-performance features—like GPS and Smile Shutter technology—that deliver the best combination for your travel experiences.”

What makes this camcorder special is the built-in GPS antenna and NAVTEQ digital maps geo-tag that makes it possible to easily document your destinations on map. Furthermore this feature is marked by a push pin at each shot location and can be played back on the camcorder map index which is displayed on the 2.7 inch wide LCD touch panel. It comes with a Picture Motion Browser software which lets you use this feature on the PC as well.
