Also the inbound tourism declined because of the weakness of the sterling. Compared with the same period a year ago this year there is a decrease in the number of people traveling abroad for holidays.
Sandie Dawe said” The winner has been the stay-cation”- so people have tried to have their vacations at near areas attractions. There has been an increase in the business trips by 3% , but for trips to see relatives or friends it has decreased by 7%.
By checking the statistics you can clearly see a slight decrease in tourism.
