One of the biggest travel-review like sites online, TripAdvisor will be facing legal action against many angry hoteliers. This happens due to their defamatory and unbiased reviews. These kind of problems were also seen before in similar sites like Yelp or Booking.com however TripAdvisor is the one to suffer due to all  of the complaints received against them.

TripAdvisor claims its the biggest hotel review site in the whole planet with an estimated of 35 million reviews on their site, each one written by individuals (reviewers). Due to the nature of human beings, where we all look for reviews before booking a hotel, TripAdvisor seems to have influenced negatively and increased reputation to some terrible service hotels.

More than 400 hotel & restaurant owners approached KwikChex.com which deals with their online reputation and as proposed by the co-founder of KwikChex.com, Chris Emmins, they could bring a group defamation action against TripAdvisor next week.
