Perhaps your wondering just what exactly a Segway is? Well if you’re on a tour of a city, a Segway is the end of tired legs, and the start of a new relationship with what could be the best invention ever. It’s an electric vehicle with two wheels that really does change the whole tour experience. Segway tours are fun, exciting and really, you have to try one!

It all started just a few years ago when Sir Clive Sinclair had an idea. He wanted to invent a vehicle that made it easier getting from A to B, and he did. It’s effectively a two-wheel scooter that runs off of electricity, except it’s driven by balancing it backwards or forwards. It sounds harder than it is, as it feels natural and relaxing when put in motion.

The Segway is not the revolution everyone thought it would be, but it is certainly a highly useful device when it comes to touring cities and theme parks, being used worldwide in all sorts of applications.

Nowadays, Segway tours are big business and it’s a great way to see a city at your leisure. It gives you the time to explore historic museums, beautiful parks and some of the most beautiful scenery available. Thankfully, there are Segway tours operating absolutely everywhere, from America to France and from Budapest to Vienna. This vehicle is highly adaptive and effectively does the walking for you, saving you the hassle and letting you explore longer distances, quicker.

If you’re a bit older and simply can’t manage a 5-kilometer tour, then a Segway trip is perfect! These scooters may look a little intimidating at first, but the Segway is easy to master and more importantly, fun to ride. It’s a safe and reliable way to get around the city without having to struggle to catch up. Anyone can drive a Segway and you don’t even need a license.

Tours have always been a hit and miss subject, but thankfully it would seem, the Segway is one of the smartest ways to make things a bit more fun and enjoyable. If you’ve not tried a Segway tour, then you simply must as it really does make things so much more enjoyable.

When you think about food and travel we hope you don’t have disturbing memories of reheated frozen airline meals. To some travelers, food is much more than just a means to an end or a simple meal. In fact some people even plan entire vacations around eating alone. There are a variety of choices available to travelers whose love of exciting far off destinations is equaled only by their love of food. You could travel to an exotic city like Paris and take gourmet cooking courses taught by true French chefs. You could also take a tasting tour where you visit a particular region and sample their best cuisine-without the hassle of trying to pick a place to eat. If either of these activities sounds fun here’s some more information you’ll need before buying your ticket.

If you really enjoy pushing your limits as a home cook then a trip to a foreign cooking school might be one of the most fun trips you could ever take. There are many all-inclusive packages offered by a variety of travel agencies which include airfare, accommodations and all of your classes combined into one price. The groups for these classes are typically small. Sometimes there might even be 1 on 1 classes available for you to take. These courses could last an afternoon or several weeks with a formal ceremony at the end. You should be able to get more information from a gourmet food cooking school directly, simply ask them what travel agency they are working with and see if there are any special deals that you might be able to take advantage of.

However if you’d prefer to leave the cooking up to the experts and heck lets be honest, who wants to cook on their vacation, then a guided culinary tour might be exactly what you’re looking for. These types of tours will highlight the best eateries and destinations of each region or area you are in and with the help of a local guide will help you discover many eateries and attractions that are a little off the beaten path.

Going on Safari is one of the ultimate life experiences, and is something everyone must try. Safari is like a rite of passage and once you’ve experienced the raw nature of Africa, you are changed forever.

We have just found the perfect way to take the safari of a lifetime. Take a great deal of nylon, some hot air and mix-in some giraffes, elephants and all sorts of other wild animals and you have yourself the trip of a lifetime – A Serengeti Balloon Safari.

It’s really not as crazy as it sounds. This is a serene experience that really does bring you a lot closer to nature and it lets you experience the beauty of the wild in a truly unique way, but without fear. At the end of this surreal experience, you are left with the feeling that no one else has experienced the plains of Africa quite like you just have.

Soar above the tree-tops and watch harmlessly as the wildlife pays no attention, or soar up to great heights to look at the beautiful sun-rise. Take a peak above the clouds and then come back down to earth with a bump after realizing that time is up because there’s no more fuel.

A balloon safari will leave you longing for more, and the breathtaking sights of the Serengeti will change your life. Many people who step forth on the savannah are instantly changed by the breathtaking tranquility and by combining it with a balloon trip makes everything almost fantastical. Until of course, you smell the coffee brewing during your trip and realize that this is real.

This is the ultimate safari. Not only are you suspended in mid air, but with relative silence and nothing but the wilds below your feet, you really are at one with nature. This is truly one of the best ways to see wildlife, as it has very little impact on the animals.

People are already loving balloon safaris simply because of the fact they are spontaneous. There is no planned route; you’re simply at the mercy of the wind, left to discover the wilderness without risk.

There are also plenty of shops in Bordeaux, and the best area for more upmarket shopping (designer clothes, and gourmet food and wine stores) is along the allées de Tourny, cours Clemenceau and cours de l’intendance, which are generally referred to as the ‘Golden Triangle’. The main pedestrian shopping street is the rue Ste-Catherine, which has a good variety of different shops, cafes and department stores.

In vino veritas, used to say the old Romans. Beer and spirits were practically unknown, and Roman parties and orgies were heavily relying on wine and good food.

Today the wine still has a certain noblesse. Good wines are old and expensive, thus differentiating from the much more popular and cheaper beer. Nevertheless, in certain places of our planet there is still a strong tradition of wine. Vineyards all you can see, wine farmers, and lots of delicious tasty wines. There no one drinks beer, it would be a shame. Drinking a glass of good wine there is next to ritual and the best way to socialize. Beware the persons who don’t drink and the persons who are too silent, says a proverb from these countries.

There are many wine afficionados among us, as the wine means pleasure, never ending stories and a good opportunity for meeting new people. Taking part to wine tours could be a life event for normally people, but not for the wine afficionados. Wine afficionados go to wine tours more times a year, trying desperately to find the best wines and the best food worldwide, as wine tasting is not possible without good food! Usually during a wine tour is normally to have at least one time daily a four dishes menu, while you can taste different sorts of wines and learn about the soul of wine. Take very much care on your sense of taste if you want become a wine afficionado: don’t smoke, don’t eat too hot or too cold. This the way the real pro does.

The best wine tours can be found in many countries of the world, but first of all within the boundaries of the former Roman Empire. France, Italy, Spain, Portugal,Romania have a long tradition in the wine farming, as also wine tasting and wine tours. Greece, Croatia and Tunisia are also coming in discussion. About the New World, there are three main destinations for wine tours and wine vacations: Chile and Argentina, Australia and New Zealand, and the Californian vineyards from Napa Valley and Sonoma.

When going to a wine tour, remember one basic thing: avoid the groups which are larger than 10 persons, as the main target is socialization and you need to speak to all your mates during the meals.

And now let’s get to the Best Wine Tours, I still have some tips and tricks for you.

1.Best Wine Tours in France you can find in Bordeaux. There are so many vineyards all around, and a lot of wine to drink, but you must get la creme de la creme! Try to find the VIP Tour, which is very exclusively and not cheap. Taste the best crus of the region: Margaux, Latour, Haut Brion and Rotschild. Being located in one of the region castles, you will feel really like a prince.

Wine tasting in a palace near Bordeaux is a must for every wine afficionado

2. Italy offers in Umbria excellent wine tours, which you can combine with other attractions in the area. Vineyards, country houses, huge caves, and the very special Pinot Noir from Piedmont is not to be missed during your Umbria Wine Tour.

Italy has very much to offer for every wine afficionado. Don't miss the Pinot Noir from Piedmont

3. Chile and Argentina worth even separately a wine tour ! While the Chilean Wines are very good renowned due to massive exports, the excellent wines from the Argentinian vineyards from Mendoza will make a wonderful surprise for you. Notice, please, the special taste of the local wines, and even the special taste of the Muscat, due to weather, soil and altitude.

Chile and Argentina have good wines and good food, thus excellent premises for good wine tours

I still have some tips, tricks and destinations for you, but these ones are really the best in my opinion. The Everest of the Wine Tasting, for sure. Start with one of these, and I will recommend further much more Wine Tours and Wine Vacations.

Becoming a tour operator can be quite difficult, but well worth it when you get to close deals on travel insurance and luxury tours.

As the manager of a tour operations outfit, the journey to success is fraught with a lot of difficulties and strange situations that call for quick thinking and a great deal of resourcefulness. Over a period of time, you will realise that what is important in this business is your reputation of keeping your promises at all costs.

There are so many firms, both small and large today, that run all sorts of tours for various kinds of customers. There are those who cater only to schools and colleges, providing tour packages for students of all ages. There are some others who deal in eco-tourism. Some other operators offer luxury tours and travel to those for whom money is not a constraint. There are some others who might be interested in tying up with hospitals and other medical facilities to provide good medical care and a well planned holiday, all rolled into one.

Whatever may be the kind of tourism that the operator is offering, the basic principles are the same. To be upfront about the kind of facilities that he offers is probably the most important of all the rules that are there in this business. Most operators today have their own website to showcase the many packages that they have on offer. What happens in many cases, the packages that are described seem to be a lot more attractive than they actually are. There is however agreement on the fact that every dish does need a bit of garnishing; but one should not overdo it. Similarly, if the operator is going to speak in glowing terms about the package that he offers, there should be at least about eighty to ninety percent truth in all that he is saying.

Another essential feature of a good tour operating business is the ability to provide for travel insurance. We keep hearing about bomb blasts and terrorist attacks practically every day. Natural disasters also abound because of the global warming that has been taking place since of late. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all the people who are part of your travel or tour are insured to the required extent. You also need to make all this information available to your customers, so that they are well aware of all the possible risks that they are up against when they travel.

Above all a tour operator needs to ensure a smiling face and pleasant demeanour at all times. You might have an old lady who has to be helped into and out of a coach; this should not pose a problem. This has to be undertaken with a smile, so that this lady is able to tell her folks back home that she was take good care of while on a tour with your firm.

It would do a lot of good to the firm to get all the relevant information about the places that are going to be visited. For instance, if you are planning to take a group of people to Easter Island, you need to be fully updated on all your history, so that the interest of those who are accompanying you is sustained.

Everyone knows that not all tours are fun. In fact, a lot of times people don’t want to go on them because they feel like they will be wasting one of their precious vacation days. Well, depending on the tour, that can be true. But if you take a tour on something that really interests you, the little inconveniences can be so very worth the trouble.

One place you can find some great tours is London. You can find fun and interesting London tours and you can find London tours that will scare your socks off. Like the Jack the Ripper & London’s Murky Past Tour by Bus where you can have a chance to experience what it was like to experience the terror of the streets during London in the 1800’s.

If you’re not in the mood to have that neck tingling terror take hold, there are plenty of London tours that won’t frighten you. Such as The Total London Experience Tour with Pub Lunch. This tour will take you to all of London’s most famous sights such as Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard, St. Peters Cathedral, Big Ben, the London Tower and the London Eye. In the middle of all of these great places, you’ll get to eat lunch at a real London Pub. What better way to experience all of London and more. The best part of these tours is that you will learn so much from the knowledge that the tour guides will impart.

If these London tours aren’t enough to convince you how wonderful tours can be, then maybe these other ones will.

Are you a music lover? A fan of rock n’ roll and the Beatles? Well, guess what? There is a Beatles and Liverpool tour that will take you to over thirty Beatles’ sights. Not to mention that you get to visit their hometown. And then there’s the Rock n’ Roll Legends Minibus Tour. This tour is to die for if you’re a rock n’ roll junkie. It takes you down into the depths of their rock n’ roll history, sharing everything from gossip and rumors to facts of all the rock legends that lived and died in London.

Even if you would like to leave London behind for a while, that’s okay. There are London tours that will take you far and wide to see some wonderful things. One such tour will take you to Stonehenge. What a mystery, Stonehenge is and one that you will find even more fascinating as you stand there staring at this magnificent structure.

No matter what your plans are when you head out on your London vacation, one thing is for sure. If you want to get the most out of your London experience. See more and do more than ever before, then take a tour. You won’t be disappointed. You will actually find that you were able to get more out of a fun-filled vacation than ever before.

It’s really easy to go on vacation and totally forget about the tours that are offered. You go on a trip with great big ideas about what you want to do and see, and in your rush to do it all, forget about one of every city’s best treats. The tours.

There are pros and cons to taking tours no matter which great city or country you choose to visit. While you might not want to spend your vacation on someone else’s time table, you should consider the benefits of doing so. First, on a tour you get to see and do more. You also get to learn more about what these places have to offer and the history of these beautiful places. By taking a tour, you’re widening your horizons and your knowledge and becoming a true “world traveler”.

So when you plan your trip to Montreal, you need to be open to checking out all the Montreal tours that could offer you some fun and interesting experiences. Such as the cruise tours offered in Montreal. There’s a selection of Montreal tours for cruises, depending on the time of day you’d like to go. You can go in the morning, midday or for a dinner cruise down the St. Lawrence River. Each cruise tour will include stories involving Montreal. If a cruise is not something you’d be interested in, you could always try out the Montreal City Bus Tour that will guide you through the streets of this fun city.

There are other kinds of Montreal tours you can participate in as well. You can go up to Olympic Park and have a guided tour of the Olympic Stadium. If none of this catches your fancy, you can always take tours that take you out of the city.

Montreal tours don’t have to be time consuming and eat up your whole vacation. The beauty of a tour is it can be when you want an where you want. If you’re not interested in taking a tour that includes dinner, plan to do it at another time of day. A tour is meant to enhance your vacation experience, not ruin it. Other things that tours are good for are that they allow you to see parts of the area, whether it’s a city or a country, without having to rent a car or have unnecessary expenses. If you have to rent a car, then you have to worry about a map and the frustration of finding the attraction you’d like to visit. Once there, you may or may not get the experience you would with a knowledgeable guide. Through a tour, you have the chance to get to know the city in just a few short days what takes others a lifetime to discover. So next time you’re planning a vacation to Montreal, don’t quickly rule out taking a tour. Give it a chance. They might just offer a treasure full of fun and interesting information.

A tour of Washington DC isn’t easy at all, but the ideal of a wonderful tour is what every tourists visiting the city will like to accomplish.

If you’ve been planning a vacation to Munich, chances are you’ve already decided where you’re going to stay, some restaurants you’re going to try and maybe some activities and attractions you want to take in. And, if you have, that’s good. Doing your research and getting the most out of your vacation is always a great idea.

But some overlook a wonderful opportunity when they travel. For whatever reason it may be, some choose to pass on taking tours. That can be understandable. You don’t want to be on someone else’s timetable. You don’t want to have to be with people you don’t know. The excuses are limitless. But then so are the benefits.

There are plenty of Munich tours that could make your vacation more fun. Who wouldn’t want a well-rounded experience? So don’t pass on the Munich tours that are available just because you’re not sure if you want to ride in a van with people or spend the day traveling the countryside. The whole point of your vacation is to see and do as much as you can. And if you don’t like the people on the tour, well, who cares? It’s not like you ever have to see them again if you don’t want to.

So let’s talk about some of Munich tours available.

For starters, there is Mike’s Bike Tours. You spend approximately four hours riding a really comfortable bike around the city. You get to stop and enjoy some really good food and a pint of beer (if you want). There’s plenty of opportunities for same great photos along the way, too. Another fun tour, if you would like to see your share of castles, would be the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Day Tour from Munich. This tour takes you to the two castles with a stop for shopping in between. If you didn’t know, the Neuschwanstein Castle is the inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. If you’re a Disney fan, then that might be a must-see. You can also take tours that will take you into Salzburg, Austria for a day to see the fantastic historical delights they have to offer.

If you are interested in a nightly tour, you should consider the Bavarian Beer and Food Evening Tour in Munich. Learn how beer is brewed and sample from the vast selection they have to offer. Don’t forget the food, because after you take the Oktoberfest Museum tour, you’ll be treated to a wonderful dinner at the Hofbrauhaus. If that doesn’t tempt the taste buds, then what will?

You certainly are not obligated to take a tour while in Munich. However, you would be missing out on so much by not giving it a chance. Tours offer the opportunity to not only learn more about your vacation location, but to see more, too. When you’re looking through your guidebooks, consider the tours. Think about everything they can offer to enhance your trip. You’ll be glad you did.
