No wonder great stuff, but just wandering that none of the numerous exciting northern tracks of Pakistan have been included in the top ten list. Pertinent to mention that Pakistan is home to five of the fourteen mountains of 8,000 metres height.

Hiking, backpacking and running in the Grand Canyon is one of my loves and I love sharing my experiences. Most people hike only a short distance - a mile of two - into the Canyon either on the Bright Angel Trail or on the South Kaibab Trail. Both of these are called the corridor trails and get 90% of the inner Canyon hikers. The Hermits Rest Trail, The Bill Hull Trail, the Grandview Trail are all great ways to hike into the Canyon as well. I write a travel blog that gives much more information about hiking in the Grand Canyon - traveltothewest.com Enjoy!
