If you have a pet, you must love him a lot, must you not? When you go in vacations you might want to take it with you, of course.
But if you visit a foreign developping country where the majoriy of people live in average with less than 1 $ daily, you can have serious problems. May be you can find there also pet restaurants, pet hotels and so on, nevertheless not to your standards.It is an advisable idea to let the pet home with your relatives or to well known establishments for pets in your country.
The pet industry is booming, no doubts. There are pet cemeteries, pet marriage agencies, and so on, and many of these can seem exagerations( need your comments for all).. Maybe is the only future sure industry. But when you go abroad, do not take your pet with! Believe me, it is better. E.g: when two tourists went to a restaurant from a foreign country asking the dog dinner, the chef cuisinier took the dog and let them serve to his masters! A huge scandal was on, but the dog was already dead.
In many european capitals, since the chinese cookers came, you can hardly find vagabond dogs anymore.
