This country borders India,Afganistan,China,Arabian Sea and The Golf of Bengal. It is a big country(880000 sqkm and 170 billions inhabitants). Its capital lies in Islamabad, and other important cities are Karachi, Rawalpindi,Lahore. Most of the Pakistani are muslim and speak urdu, belonging to the people of punjabs, sindhi, pashtuns, beluchis.

Pakistani and India belonged up to 1947 to the British Empire(the colony of India). By the declaration of Independance, Pakistan was intented to contain the muslim, and India the hindhu population. As a result, builded two streams of migrating people who fought bad when coming across. Ever since, due to teritorial disagreements(mainly Kashmere), Pakistan and India ruled some wars. All these facts consist today as a major risk, as the both countries have the capacity to build atomic bombs.
1956 the first Islamic Republic was proclamed in Pakistan. Aver since military dicatorships and democracies came one after the other. In 1973 Zulfikar Ali Bhutto set up a Constitution. During the 1977 free elctions, Benazir Bhutto came to power, being the first woman in such position in all islamic world.
2007 after a more years exile Benazir Bhutto came home to take part to new free elections. And she was brutally killed.
A violent country these days, don’t visit it . It is also a nice worthseeing country, consisting mostly of mountains.

Ayesha, the writer did not mean anything wrong about Pakistan. But when many people die in explosions, terorrist attacks, etc, that means not a safe place. Meanwhile, I must agree, is much better. But when I wrote that article it was simply not adviceable to travel in Pakistan, and this is my first duty against my pals here!
