And you don’t just learn boring facts – you visit the locations where the events actually happened, and if the tour guide is good enough, you can actually start to visualize the events happening before your eyes. When you take a ghost tour, you learn the somewhat secret, lesser-known locations that only locals know.

While I wouldn’t base my entire vacation around a ghost tour, I do recommend taking one as part of your vacation to beautiful Vancouver. A ghost tour is a fun, healthy alternative to most forms of evening entertainment, and it’s something the whole family can enjoy. Even if you’re not visiting Vancouver, check for ghost tours in the area you are visiting. As mentioned, most major cities have them, it’s just a matter of how good they are and how “haunted” the area is. Some people claim to have legitimate paranormal experiences on these tours, while others simply enjoy the information and overall experience. Regardless, it’s a fun way to spend an evening.
