The first question should actually be, do you know what Oktoberfest is? Most people relate it to eating German food and lots of alcohol. While that is probably true of most Oktoberfests, there is more to them. They are a celebration of life. In fact, the first one ever held was because of a royal wedding that included a celebration and horse races. They became a regular celebration after that. They are about bringing cultures all over the world, together. In fact, German immigrants have helped shape the culture of the bay area. That’s why the Oktoberfest in San Francisco is such a treat.
Oktoberfest San Francisco is definitely something you don’t want to miss. You may have been to other Oktoberfests. They may even have been lots of fun giving you lots of memories to look back on.
But they weren’t Oktoberfest San Francisco style!
The festival is held by the Bay in (what else?) October every year. What makes Oktoberfest by the Bay so much fun is that it maintains the traditions of the original Munich Oktoberfest.
If you’ve never been to an Oktoberfest, you’ve been missing out. There’s so much to learn, do and see at any Oktoberfest. While you’ll enjoy great Bavarian music by a live band, you’ll also be treated to bratwurst and a tasty
. Dance, sing along, eat and drink. Be happy, be merry and enjoy yourself. And don’t forget that great Oompah music! And, do not, under any circumstances, forget to dance a polka.
There’s nothing more fun than celebrating an Oktoberfest in style and the Oktoberfest on the Bay is the way to do it. How many Oktoberfests have you been to that have been held in such a wonderful setting? How many have given you true glimpses of Germany?
Once you go to the Oktoberfest in San Francisco, you’ll never want to go to another again. Unless, of course, you get the opportunity to visit the one in Munich. Then that would be much better. But if you’re in the United States, or visiting the United States, and have the opportunity, there’s no excuse not to see the Oktoberfest by the Bay.
The Oktoberfest in Munich is the largest festival every year. While the Oktoberfest in San Francisco can’t claim that title, it is a festival that is hugely attended by people from all over the world. You can’t help but get caught up in the fun, the lively entertainment and enjoy your share of great food and drinks.
If you ever find yourself in San Francisco in October, make a point to check out the Oktoberfest. You will be so glad that you did. There is something that makes it so much more fun and festive being held by the bay. Or maybe it’s just the city of San Francisco that put so much into it that makes it so special. Either way, its definitely an experience worth having.

Oktoberfest in San Francisco is the event of a lifetime! It is unlike anything you have ever witnessed and if you ever get the chance you should do yourself the service of attending. If you do, though, make sure you book a hotel far in advance, as they tend to get booked rather quickly.
