Sanyo Launched 2009 Xacti Dual Camera lineup

Yesterday I wrote about the Sony’s new Ultra Compact Digital Camcoder HDR-TG5V and seems like Sanyo is already there to fight the competition by launching 4 new digital cameras. Sony has unveiled their 2009 Xacti Dual Camera lineup, including VPC-FH1, VPC-WH1, VPC-TH1, and VPC-CG10. All these new Xacti does both video recording and photo taking.

The Xacti VPC-FH1

The Xacti VPC-FH1 comes with a 8 Megapixel CMOS sensor and offers full HD dual Camcoder recording. It can capture footage at 1920×1080p at 60fps and also features a 16X zoom and Image Stabilizer. The Dual Camera Xacti FH1 packs high performance, cutting edge technology into a small, stylish, easy to use camera.

Like other regular camcorders the display flips out from the camera and rotates up to 285 degrees on an axis that allows you to take great video or still images from otherwise-difficult-to-view positions, proving to be especially useful when shooting in confined spaces.

The Xacti VPC-WH1

Next is the Xacti VPC-WH1 which is a waterproof HD camcoder and features a 2 Megapixel senor, 30x optical zoom and Face Chaser. It allows you to take underwater High Definition video and still photos to a whole new level. It has earned the highest possible IEC 60529 waterproof rating so that it can allow footage to be captured without worrying about the effects of water or snow.

The Xacti VPC-TH1

The Xacti VPC-TH1 is a perfect camera for capturing life’s special moment as they happen. It lets you record HD videos up to 2 Megapixel digital photos with 30x Optical Zoom. 30x optical zoom and HD video quality make this camera truly special. It has a more traditional horizontal design but this product is far from ordinary. Its compact, lightweight design makes the TH1 extremely portable and easy to use.

Xacti VPC-CG10

The new Sanyo Dual Camera Xacti CG10 records High Definition video at 720p/30fps and up to 10 megapixel digital photos with 5X optical zoom. In addition to HD Video the CG10 takes amazing 10 megapixel still photos. With a 10 megapixel CMOS image sensor the still images can be interpolated to reach 12 megapixel still image quality.

Just like the Xacti VPC-TH1 it recognizes up to 12 faces for videos and still pictures and optimizes focus and aperture settings to ensure all subjects are in focus.
