The worldwide leader in advanced 3CCD color video imaging, Toshiba has unveiled their new ultra compact digital camcorders. S10 and P10 are the newest members of Toshiba Camileo range and they offers 1080p HD video recording. Both of them are identical except that the S20 is slimmer at just 18mm thick.
According to Toshiba these are perfect for shooting HD videos while your on the go. Despite their ultra-compact dimensions, the pocket-sized cameras still boast a range of premium features, including advanced 1080p HD video recording, at an extremely competitive price point. At only 18mm thick, the S10 is the slimmest entry in the Camileo range, with dimensions no bigger than a deck of playing cards.

The S10 and P10 also offer a 4x Digital Zoom and a clear 2.5 inch LCD flip screen that allows instant video playback to review your recorded videos. What interests me the most is the SDHC card reader which allows expandable flash memory of up to 32GB. That means you can record footage up to 8 hours at around 15mins per 1GB.
In addition to that it offers “Night Mode” feature which enhances still and moving image quality in low light conditions. It lets user record high quality videos in dark environment. Furthermore, a new special effects feature enables consumers to give their images and movies a unique look by selecting from four settings, including black & white, normal, classic and negative mode.

More importantly you can view your footage on TV and multimedia PCs using the HDMI port. You also get to edit your videos easily thanks to the ArcSoft software included with each camera. All models in the Camileo range include a simple YouTube upload facility, allowing users to add content to the popular video site with just a few clicks.

Unbelievable, makes my camcorder (now 8 years old) look like something out of the Ark.
