Sorry to be such a pain but me and my friends do not like the way you talked about whites. Me and my friends are white but we think coloured people have exactly the same rights if you would not mind can you take the word of?
I agree with Lucy. In Wales we don’t differentiate between people of colour. If you’re welsh you’re welsh and it doesn’t matter if you’re not decended from the Celts. If you’re born here, you’re Welsh!
Please remove that part as it indicates we see a difference in people when we don’t.
Also , I would add, that you have quite rightly highlighted Cardiff as the capital and having a brilliant tourist base but if you came to Wales and just saw Cardiff, thats like going to America and just seeing New York. While it’ great, it’s not the whole experience and Wales as a country is as fantastic as England, Ireland and Scotland for history, natural beauty, people and culture, tho often overlooked. You never hear people in the USA saying how they’re decended from the welsh do you!
Respectfully
A very proud welsh woman :0)
I agree with both, I found the information well written, Better than most websites about wales
Ummmm…. my great great grandfather came from wales and im proud of it! And yes there are many Americans who boast about their ancestors coming from Wales. Im not sure but someone once told me that Napolean said he would rather have a battalion of Welshman than a whole army of anyone else. Yes i am very proud of were my ancestors came from everyone in America is you just dont hear about it because everyone in the world like painting Americans as stuck up stupid wealth hogging people we are just like the rest of the world just as smart just as motivated yet people see us as evil and hypocritical that is our no good government do not say that no one in America boasts that their ancestors are from wales thats like saying that nobody in America says they fart yes allota people do admit to farting and are proud of them selves for it dont ask me why oh and i kinda gave up on periods and commas after the firs two sentences lol
This article starts off badly and gets worse. Wales is not an island nation as it has a land border with England. Also, as others have stated there is no need for the tem “whites2 to be used in any context, and the paragraph that contains the term does not make sense anyway.
