There is more to hot tubs that just warm water in your cozy hotel. The views are excellent and incomparable. The view is just one part of the criteria among other things. Each hot tub on our list provides a unique experience which understandably does not come cheap.

Hotel on Rivington (New York City)

Paul Stallings who is responsible for the revitalization of New York City’s downtown is also the one who designed the cedar hot tub way up the busy streets of the Lower East Side. You can cool down under the outdoor shower during summer or you might want to warm up by the outdoor fireplace during winter. You can enjoy the hot tub with nine of your friends.

Do not forget to call for a Pearadise champagned prepared by the bartender of the hotel. The tag price to enjoy all these things is $5,000.

Molori Safari Lodge (North West Province, South Africa)

How cool can it be to watch zebras, wild dogs, elephants, and lions while enjoying the in-ground from your lodge by the Dwarsberg Mountains at the Madikwe Game Reserve?
While relaxing in the 6-person hot tub, personal butlers will be bringing you cured-beef South African traditional snack called Bitong and Droewors. Enjoy this with Amarula from the fruit of a tree with the same name.

The 185,329 acre reserve is malaria free by the way. Staying at the Metsi Suite of the Molori will cost you about $4,135 every night.

Ski Dream Home (Park City, Utah)

The stone hot tub for 12 people is located about 8,000 feet above sea level on top of the Little Baldy Peak. The setting is perfect for a cocktail party after the sun goes down the Wasatch mountain Range.

Around the hot tub is an outdoor pool, fireplace, grotto, and heated flooring when things get too cold. You can enjoy the 16-person house for a per night fee of $13,500. They take reservations for a minimum stay of seven days.

Nimmo Bay Resort (British Columbia, Canada)

About 200 miles of Vancouver, the Nimmo Bay Resort has two cedar tubs that is heated to around 104 degrees which you can enjoy as contrast bath after plunging into the natural cold pools around. The lakes and rivers also offer a lot for those who enjoy fishing. The water in the tub comes from the waterfall of the Nimmo Bay.

You can reserve for at least three nights that costs $1,980 per day.

Amangani (Jackson, Wyoming)

The slate tub along with the pool with quartzite tile is the centerpiece of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This hot tub is just by the western edge of the East Gros Ventre Butte of the Jackson Hole. Take note though that the winds at 7,000 feet high can really howl. A staff brings beanies to guest just to make sure everyone stays warm enough.

You can book an overnight stay for $565.

Blancaneaux Lodge (San Ignacio, Belize)

While relaxing in the horseshoe shaped hot tub in Francis Ford Coppola’s hillside property Blancaneaux Lodge, you will be able to spot iguanas and the howler monkeys. Dean Touvalaris who is an Oscar awardee for production design is the brain behind this granite tub that can hold up to 11,000 gallons of water. The excess power generated by the resort’s hydroelectric power plant is used to heat up the tub.

The two-bedroom Coppola Villa can be rented for $725 per night.

Conrad Maldives’ Beach Villa (Rangali Island, Maldives)

This hot tub is an ultra private, 104 degree, 2-person warm water haven at the beach villa in Rangali Island overlooking the Indian Ocean. The luxury resort is set on two private islands connected by a bridge. Relax in the secluded tub while enjoying the fresh papaya or coconut juice.

You can enjoy miles of white sand beach and magnificent seascape for $850 a night. Minimum stay is for four nights.

Regent Palms (Turks and Caicos Islands)

The hot tub and infinity pool of the Regent Palms is a multi-million spot overlooking the North Atlantic. Aside from the luxury tub, the resort in Grace Bay Beach is also home to a 25,000 square foot spa just a few hops from the blue waters.
A one-bedroom suite will cost you $859 a night.

Banyan Tree Lijiang (China)

This 55-room resort and spa is in Yunnan Province on the southwestern portion of China. Book a reservation and you get a villa opening to a private courtyard with a two-person 100-degree tub. Enjoy the beauty of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain while soaking and order some tea or plum wine.

Single or double occupancy will cost you about $435.

Matakauri Lodge (Queenstown, New Zealand)

The alpine cedar and stone lodge is a charmer. Add to it the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that reveal all the glory of the cedar tub with all the natural elements as the background. After enjoying Lake Wakatipu you can try out bungee jumping, fly-fishing, and glacier adventures.

The suites can be yours for a night for $718.
