Eternity has nothing to do with Ethernet! No joking:eternity means for ever. But what means for ever, what is infinite.
There are too many questions already, and many leading philosophs (who are this funny guys?) tried to find an answer, and the result are not certain.
Hitler had dreams of eternity, he tried to create the new world order, lasting for a 1000 years. This is already eternity for me! Eternity is not for humans, only for gods. Other dictators, starting with Nero, thought to be eternal and susbstitute to gods.
Gorbaciov and Kohl never thaught to substitute gods, and were not dictators. But they played a major role in the world, and they will remain in the history books for eternity, maybe.
At a contest of building sand castles, held in Germany, one concurent build even this eternity for a few hours: Kohl and Gorbaciov.
