When you hear of the Las Vegas strip, it is about pure grandeur and spending where the sky is the limit. The Bellagio is one of the grandest places that you can visit while enjoying Las Vegas. Well, not necessarily to stay at the Bellagio if it is out of your budget but here are some suggestions that you can try if you dare not spend more than $20 of your allowance:
Enjoy the Fountains
The multimillion hotel has fountains constructed for the gods. They spent millions on it so it must be good. There are nightly shows that you can view from Monday to Friday. These usually last for half an hour with jets of water rocketing to the tune of Vegas music.
Botanical Conservatory
The Bellagio Conservatory is must see while you are at the Bellagio. Colorful topiaries are displayed and constantly updated. Every season will give you a different arrangement and different array of colors. You don’t have to pay for an entrance and you can view it for free any time. Do not forget to bring your digital camera since you will really be amazed.
Glass Display
When you enter the lobby of the Bellagio, look up. You will see colorful glass flowers created by the famous artist Dale Chihuly. You will not see tens or hundreds, but you will be in awe of about 2000 blown glass masterpieces in rainbow colors and different sizes.
Fine Arts Gallery
The gallery sells tickets for $15 if you are an adult, $10 for students, and $12 for seniors. It is worth it since the halls display some of the famous works of great artists of our time. The gallery is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening; and Saturday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 7 pm.
Hang-out at the Caramel
This is a nice and inexpensive way of spending your night at the Bellagio. You can get a drink for about $8 to $15 in this ultra-lounge. It might not be as crazy as the club next door but it also does not drain your pockets. The DJ will get you grooving every Thursday to Saturday from 5PM to about 4AM.
Drool at Jean-Philippe’s
We really had to put the word drool on our subheading since the Chocolcate Fountain at this patisserie will tickle your every desire for sugar. The fountain is over 26 feet high made of about two tons of white, milk, and dark chocolate. It flows at a rate of 120 quarts every minute. Too bad we can not touch and taste the fountain since it is encased in a glass but you can buy some sinful delights for about $5.
Fontana Bar
If you love music, you can hang out by the Fontana Bar where first class musicians perform from Fridays through Saturdays. You can also see the great fountain of the hotel from their patio.
Window Shopping
Name it and they have it. Walk through the hall of upscale boutiques but make sure you have your credit card locked in your pockets. It will cost you thousands when you have to give in to your retail craving but looking at the ABCs of high end fashion is free. Most stores are open from 10 in the morning until midnight.
