Dairy State Cheese and Beer Festival in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Come April 21, people will head to Kenosha in Wisconsin for the annual Dairy State Cheese and Beer Festival for some good cold beer and great cheese. The ticket will cost you around $40 and will give you access to a lot of samples from the best brewers and cheese producers in the state. The biggest local brewers will be present and there will be a good opportunity to sample yummy sausages at The Brat Shop.

Spam Jam Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii

Locals of Honolulu love the sun, sand, and the waters of Hawaii but on top of their list is the ham in can, Spam. On its twentieth year, Honolulu will be holding the Spam Jam in Waikiki and all the fun will roll out on the streets come April 28. The event attracted about 20,000 people last year and organizers are expecting more this year. What do you expect? Everything Spam of course, from samples, recipes, and everything you can think of. They do not charge anything so your budget should be there for all the Spam souvenirs you want.

World Grits Festival in St.George, South Carolina

The World Grits Festival kicks off on April 13 and runs thru the weekend. You can get in for free and get all free access to see all the crafts and arts, enjoy live music, and partake in the grits eating on stage. Time your visit accordingly and you will have a chance to see participants in a pool of grits.
