Eurostar will extend its services starting may to help travelers get to more destinations in France. Starting May 4, the line going to Avignon from St. Pancras will expand its rich and help travelers go to even more holiday destinations

Eurostar listened to the feedback of travelers so next summer, the service will test trips to Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, and Avignon. These are the most popular destinations located south of France.

Aix-en-Provence is the gateway to the region of Provence and is known as the home of famous French , post impressionist artist, Paul Cezanne.

Lyon is dotted with restaurants that are world renowned and awarded with Michelin stars. Holidaymakers also flock to Lyon for its electronic music festival and the Fete des Lumieres. Its old quarter has also been recognized by the UNESCO as a heritage site.

Avignon boasts of its architectural wonders like its city walls, the bridge of Pont St-Benezet, Palais des Papes, and medieval ramparts.

The new trips will be offered on a trial basis. Tickets will start to go on sale this week.
