We have reported before about the Harry Potter Theme Park but did you know that the magic has transformed an AirTran Boeing 717 into a Harry Potter jet? Yes, Universal Studios waved its wand and inked a deal with the airliner to make the paintjob possible.

Sorry but there are no Harry Potter characters onboard but the design of the plane says it all. You will see the boy wizard pointing his wand towards the nose of the Boeing 717.

AirTran gave in to the cute idea of having the Harry Potter design of its body just like how Southwest displayed the image of gorgeous model Bar Refaeli for Sports Illustrated. The cost though might have been too high to have Harry Potter on the tail of the aircraft.

We are pretty sure fans picture other characters with their own versions of the plane. Who knows, that might just happen.
