The company will be be bringing passengers to Perth in Australia, Zagreb in Croatia, Gassim in Saudi Arabia, Helsinki in Finland, and Kigali, Zanzibar, and Mombasa in East Africa.

The new destinations will kick off over the first few months of 2012 from the hub of the airline in Doha, Qatar. The new routes will be in addition to the earlier announced cities of Tbilisi in Georgia and Baku in Azerbajian that will be launched by February.

The expansion plan is part of the original vision of Qatar to be truly a global airline with a very wide network covering major leisure and business destinations across the globe, and also underserved networks where other airlines do not go to.
