Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it will be time for family gatherings, and well, a dose of travel nightmare for most of us. Orbitz recently released an index showing the busiest airports in the United States if you are planning to travel between 21 and 26 of November. We cannot really talk of statistics to explain this. It is simple, most of the travelers will be using these airports, and that may include you.

There will be 24 million people trying to go from point A to point B come Thanksgiving and these will be the busiest transport hubs:

Seattle Tacoma International
Newark Liberty International
New York JFK International
NY LaGuardia
BostonLogan International
Atlanta Hartsfield International
San Francisco International
Denver International
Los Angeles International
Chicago O’Hare International

So, is there a choice? Well most people will be using these airports. The least busy of the airports are those which most likely will not be used by a lot of people. Thanksgiving, we believe, will be a mix of wonderful memories with the family and a nightmarish experience while traveling. And the former makes the latter worth it.
