Tips and tricks for a good travel

There some places in any city which are not to find in a travel guide, and they are very useful to understand better that neighborhood. These places are also quiet and cheap, and they are a must for any professional experienced traveller.

1. University campuses. Those places are charged with many people holding brain and charisma, whether students or teachers. They all have a level! You can gather many informations about the city, you can eat cheap, you can find some special museums which are not overcrowded, but deserve your attention!

2. Railway station, bus stops etc. A place for public transportation, where you can find so many different people going to work, or somewhere else. Magic place! My favourite enternainment is stepping on a bridge over the railway, and watching the long parallel neverending and nevermeeting rails. Geometry and philosophy at once. Important notice: some railway stations are old, nice, master of arts in architecture. Also the undergrounds from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, do not miss them!

3.Supermarkets. Notice what is well known to you from home or other parts of the world, and what is particular here(fruits, vegetables, behaviour etc) . Buy something for a meal, which you are going to take somewhere in public(maybe a park) .

4.Public libraries. Books, information( a lot of them) is here to find. Maybe even a free Internet acces, and even more.

5.Cemetery. I hope you do not mind about this tip and proposition. It is not morbide at all! Simply go there, after a day in a megacity it will be sure an island of silence. Observe the graves, think about the tragedies and motives of premature deaths, admire the funeral tombs.
