My desk mate and I are not very close right now, despite our promises from 18. I had also many other class mates I haven’t seen for ages, despite despite our close friendship from years ago. Sad and unbelievable for a teenager!
On an other scale, and in the other sense, I think to the World War II. America and Germany were death enemmies, and by the end of the war, when Germany was already suffering from hunger, malnutrition, diseases, America and its allies have heavily bombarded and practically destroyed Dresden, a cultural german jewelery, with many churches and other medium Age monuments.
After the war, the ennemies stared to be friends again, agreeing about the luch of purposes
of a war. German and France even are today friends, finally. And 60 years after the devastating bombardments the allies got some spends and rebuild achurch destroyed by themselves. Let this church be asymbol of peace, and let other people learn from this tough lesson!
