The city of Luxemburg is the capital of the land with the same name. A small country, and also a small town. The town itself lies on the river Lizette and is an important financial and industrial town with 200000 inhabitants, who speak a german/french language and a mix of those languages.
The city is old, has long traditions, and many medium-age monuments. It was succesively under posession of Habsburgs, France, Spain and Austria. So, there are many things and traces to discover in Luxemburg, enjoy it. If you are in a hurry, you can go through the all country of Luxemburg(2586 sqkm) in a very short time.
