Paris is one of the world’s most visited cities. It has hundreds of interesting and exciting places for its 30 millions visitors which it hosts yearly!
My personal 10 favorites things to do in Paris are listed bellow.
1. Hotel d’Angleterre, a luxury mansion build in the XVIII th century, which served as english Embassy. In the 20’s it was very frequently visited by Ernest Hemingway.
2. The unique view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower, which is even today the highest building in the city. You can enjoy it before a cup of coffee, but this cup will be not cheap.
3.Saint Chapelle is a wonderful decorated church, having a special architecture.
4. La Coupole. A chic restaurant in Montparnasse, legendary in the 20’s for its artistic clientelle.
5. Montmartre was at the dawn of the 20th century a village near Paris, where the artists used to live. Today is again in, and is waiting for your visit. It has also many red light locals, as Moulin Rouge.
6. Place de Vosges et des Marais is Paris’ nicest and most poetic market in my opinion.
7. One of the best things to do in Paris is also a visit to the Rue de la Lappe which is a must for Paris’s spectacular night life. You’ll find here many discos and dancing locals, meeting the most diverses music tastes.
8. Culture Centre Georges pompidou- Beaubourg, well known for its special architecture, sending you in the future!
9. Le Palais de Versailles. Superb architecture made by Louis XV, splendide decorations. Even the garden architecture is very special and brillant.
10. Musee du Louvres. It worths a special mention, and a special post. It is one of the world’s most prestigious museums. You can find here the Mona Lisa and the armless Venus from Milo. And many artifacts more. You need a day only for this visit!
