Highway 1 is awesome, but I don’t know if I’d say it’s the most beautiful in the world. I was just in Africa and drove a highway that blew my mind. The National Route 2 including one called ‘Clarens Drive’ and ‘The Garden Route’ are incredible. Also drove something called ‘Chapman’s Peak Drive’ which is the most stunning, colorful, gorgeous, awesome drive imagineable. I found it even more beautiful than Amalfi in Italy or the 101 in Cali.

I’ve not been along all of the PCH but what I have seen is stunning. My favourite portion is from Half Moon Bay, through Santa Cruz, to San Fran. Just gorgeous coastline and tons of little spots to stop for photos or small towns for coffee and food.
