If it’s possible, picture a place where past meets present. Where the flavor of a place is actually visible to all who visit. Picture a place that is friend to both young and old. If you can do all this, you have seen Madrid.
Madrid is a place that you can only truly love after you’ve seen it for yourself. If you’re an art lover, you will surely appreciate the artistic stroke that is seen in every corner of Madrid. Not to mention the beautiful art galleries that call this city home.
Madrid is a backpackers paradise. Why travel the usual way? Make your vacation a true adventure. Sling a backpack over your shoulder and see the best that Madrid has to offer on a budget. How many people do you know that are up for that? Make it a group and have the time of your life. Madrid vacations makes you stop wishing and start living.
Do you want to take the kids somewhere fun? Well, Madrid might not be exactly what you had in mind, but why not? It has so many wonderful attractions that the kids will enjoy. Such as climbing on the church. Well, not all the way to the top, but a few feet won’t hurt. And the theme parks and zoo will be a winner, too. Not many kids can say they’ve been to zoos in other countries. Just imagine the different animals you might get to see. And if all that doesn’t wear them out, then you’re truly on your own. Maybe you have a pool at your hotel that will finish wearing them out?
And the bullfights. That alone would make Madrid worth the trip. If you’re worried if it might be too gory, ask before you go. Imagine what it would be like to be the bullfighter. This is one attraction that really brings the Spanish culture to life. Another attraction that Madrid has to offer that is really interesting is Toledo.
Toledo is a medieval city that has been preserved and still contains some of the countries’ oldest cathedrals. This city is surrounded by a stone wall that served as protection during medieval times. Talk about a piece of history. This is something that you can only read about in most places.
You can see some Roman ruins, too, if you’re willing to venture a little ways outside the city. You have to wonder if there are any ancient spirits wandering the ruins. There’s only one way to find out and that’s to go visit Madrid.
You only get one lifetime to see and do everything that you can. Don’t pass on seeing Madrid for something more popular and more expected. With all of the exciting things to do and places to see in your life, it would be a shame to waste your vacations seeing the same old things year after year. Consider some place different. Some place fun. Some place historical and ancient. Consider Madrid.
