If you’re thinking about taking a trip to Central America, a Nicaragua vacation might be just what you’re looking for.

It’s definitely not the same as going to New York or Key West. It offers something different than the typical vacations of Europe and Hawaii. But maybe you’re just thinking about. Maybe you’re not exactly sure why you should take a Nicaragua vacation.

If you don’t know what you’d get to do by going on a Nicaragua vacation, then you might want to wait before you book that trip. Do a little research. Find out what Nicaragua actually has to offer in the way of a fun vacation. And, of course, you want it to be a fun vacation. Who wants to go on vacation if there’s no fun involved?

So what can you do in Nicaragua. Hmmm, let’s see. Well, there are places all over the country that might offer something interesting to do. Something that might give you a reason to take a trip there. Something that you might get to do or see that you’d never get to do or see anywhere else. Something that might make this trip unique. (Really, wouldn’t it be fun to brag to your friends that you did something none of them have ever done?) Of course, if you’re going with your friends, you can brag to everyone else!

If you choose to go to Nicaragua, you can find yourself in Granada. In Granada, you can visit Mombacho Volcano or see the Guadalupe Church. If you’re not into old churches or volcanoes, your vacation in Nicaragua might find you somewhere else.

Such as Big Corn Island. It may sound funny, but you might decide it has everything you’ve ever dreamed of for your vacation to Nicaragua. If you’re looking for a wonderfully relaxing beach anyway. Big Corn Island offers a fabulous beach along with an easily located hotel. There’s Paraiso Beach Bar which can offer lively entertainment when you get bored of lounging on the beach. Of course, if water is your thing, and you like to dive, you might check out the Dive Nautilus Tour. This dive tour offers different dive sights with lots of coral and fish to be found.

But if you’re not a diver or a beach goer….you might want to look into visiting Managua. For the adventurous person, there are a great deal of outdoor activities for you to participate in. They can be taken by foot or by Land Rover. They can be day trips or tour trips that camp overnight. Either way the lakes, rainforest and volcanoes that you’ll get to see will make it worth any effort you make to go. If you’re not looking to travel into the rainforest, Managua also offers opportunities to golf, kayak, go in a hot air balloon or many other sporting activities. So if fun in the sun is what you’re looking for, Managua might be the perfect location for your vacation.
