There are few places in the world as magical as Brazil. The many customs, yearly events, festivals, sights, and culturally rich atmosphere make it a fantastic getaway from for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. But of all of the places in Brazil, one city really stands out, and brings visitors back for more again and again. That city is Rio de Janeiro, and if you have considered taking a vacation to Brazil, there is no better destination.
Besides being a tourist hot spot, and one of the most beloved cities in South America, it is also one of the most active, and has plenty to offer the average vacationer, no matter what it is you are looking for in your trip. From fine dining, great shopping, and four star hotels, to a fantastic entertainment, small local bars, and hostels on the beach, the Rio de Janeiro vacation has it all.

The Tabacaria Africana – A tiny shop near the center of town, this lovely little tobacco store offers a wide variety of flavors, aromas, and types of pipe smoke. Even if you are not a fan of tobacco yourself, the interesting smells as you walk through are so enticing, it’s always worth a look. The shopkeeper will even create a special mix for you, upon request, adding a customized touch to the product that is both endearing, and satisfying. Address – Largo do Paço 38, Centro
Tempeh – Probably the best restaurant of its kind in Rio de Janeiro, the Tempeh is a fantastic little vegetarian restaurant featuring some delicious dishes for both vegetarian, and vegan eaters alike. With a great selection, and some amazing soups, you can enjoy the causal atmosphere as you listen to the latest New Age hits, and enjoy some very good food. Bombar - A great little nightclub with a hopping clientel, this fantastic spot located in Leblon draws a large crowd of locals every night to its dance floor. Not only is it popular for it’s dancing, but it also has an atmosphere that can’t be beat, and the time will fly as you dance the night away. Address – Av General San Martin 1011, Leblon
